In the Spring of 2013 I took a bike ride down the C & O Canal from Cumberland, MD to Washington, DC. Along the way I was able to photograph some of the more memorable scenes. The Canal is designated a National Historical Park and is part of the National Park Service. The park is an excellent place for hiking, biking, camping and boating.
